Path Toward Licensure (LMHC)
To become a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State, requirements include:
- 3,000 total hours of experience (or 36 months full-time)
- 1,200 hours of direct client contact
- 100 hours of supervision
Graduates of CACREP-accredited programs may receive credit toward required hours
